Goodbye, ABC!
It’s an emotional day for me: ABC Spare Parts/ABC Auto Gear on Ipswich Road, Oxley is now closed. I’ve had this baby for 32 years. The Department of Main Roads are performing major roadworks on the adjacent Ipswich Motorway and forced us to move out. I can’t believe the day has come where ABC is no more!

ABC started its life out in 1986 as ‘Self Service Auto Parts’ and was later rebranded ‘ABC Spare Parts’. I’ve been in the business since July 1987 and took ownership with my wife, Robyn, in 1991.
Business has allowed me to meet a lot of fantastic people over the years and helped me gain an abundance of invaluable knowledge, experience, and memories along the way.
Too many people to thank – all your support over 3 decades of operations means the world to me. I’m sure you all know who you are. Hugely appreciated, I can never thank you enough.
Our new venture, Raw Metal Corp turned 4 years old yesterday. Raw is blossoming and there are exciting times to come… so stay tuned!
